The Ohio Association of Regional Councils (OARC), Ohio Economic Development Association (OEDA), Transportation Matters and Women in Transportation (WTS, Columbus Chapter), The American Planning Association Ohio Chapter (APA OH) and The Ohio Public Transit Association (OPTA) will host a 2010 Gubernatorial & U.S. Senate Candidate Event on Wednesday, August 4, 2010, at the Hilton Easton in Columbus at the Easton Towne Center, 3900 Chagrin Drive, Columbus, Ohio.
The event would bring together members of various organizations to hear candidates on issues related to Job Creation, Economic Development, Transportation and Infrastructure. The event format would not be a debate, but would rather allow the candidates to give a 20 - 30 minute keynote address on pertinent topics and then another 20 - 30 minutes to answer questions from the audience. Written questions from the audience would be collected and then a selected moderator would read the questions. Event attendance is estimated at 700 - 800.

9 a.m. - Registration
10 a.m. - Noon - Morning session with 2010 Gubernatorial & U.S. Senate Candidate Noon - Networking/table discussion
1 p.m. - Panel Discussion with Ohio Party Chairs
1:45 p.m. - Afternoon session
3:30 p.m. - Closing Remarks
